The first May-weekend is a long one – What a great entrance into the month! Lots of different events take place on Labor Day.

Opening: FINNFLOAT

A slightly different spa experience can be had in the south of Berlin from May. At FINNFLOAT you can rent a sauna raft, take a sauna and go for a refreshing swim by jumping directly into Müggelsee. A perfect combination of everything that one needs to relax, in our view.

XJAZZ

The sounds of jazz have returned! In April, XJAZZ was on tour in Turkey and is now back in Berlin. At the XJAZZ Festival, musical highlights will be presented throughout Kreuzberg. You can look forward to performances by Yussef Kamaal, The Swag, Dillon and many more.

Theatre festival

At the 54th Theatertreffen you can again look forward to seeing the ten most notable theatre productions that can currently be found from German-speaking countries. The numerous performances fascinate hundreds of visitors every year. You can find this year’s programme here.

BIG 25 Berlin

Hurray for sport! If you feel like doing a 25 km sightseeing-jogging tour through Berlin, you should register for the BIG 25 Berlin. The route starts and ends in the Olympiastadion Berlin and goes past numerous monuments. If you don’t feel ready to do the entire route, you can also register for 10 km or a 5 × 5 km relay race.

German Protestant Church Assembly

This year, we celebrate the 500th anniversary of the Reformation. In this regard, the Kirchentag 2017 constitutes a very special highlight. Numerous events on the subjects of faith, religion and churches will be held under the motto “You are the God who sees me” (Genesis 16:13).
