Berlin loves food festivals! A variety of food events take place throughout the year, and there really is something on offer to tempt all taste buds. We’ve compiled the most popular events here for you. Bon appétit!

Terrior Berlin

Look forward to a very culinary special at Terroir Berlin: a 5-course-menu, for which every course will be prepared by another gourmetcook-pair (one from Berlin and one international). Correspondingly there will be a wine- and beervariety.

Handgemacht

Street food is probably one of the biggest trends in the capital right now. If this is then combined with a tasty beer, then there’s (almost) nothing left to be desired. A total of 25 young breweries and numerous food stands will be presenting themselves to you at Handgemacht.

African Food Festival

Have you ever gone out for an African meal? No? Then you should head to the African Food Festival. In addition to African rhythms and a beautiful view of the Spree, there will of course be numerous traditional African dishes on offer for you to try. See you there!

Berlin Kebab Festival

The Berlin Kebab Festival will also be taking place at the Carnival of Cultures this year. This food festival is limited to 200 guests, so get your tickets fast if you want to eat kebabs in all their shapes and variations!

Foodsharing Festival

Several thousand kilos of food are thrown away every day. The Foodsharing Festival at Malzfabrik is dedicated to this topic. You’ll also find out what can be done about it here. Around 800 guests, 25 workshops and numerous artists await your visit.

Vegan Summer Festival

In August, Alexanderplatz will once again become the venue for the biggest vegan summer festival in Europe. It’s actually celebrating its 10 year anniversary this year and will be at least as good as in the previous years. A variety of stands and numerous events on the topic of vegan nutrition lie in store.

Paleo Convention

Eat like in the Middle Ages – this may sound rather strange to many, yet it is something that has already become routine for a few people. At the Paleo Convention you can learn all about this type of nutrition. More than 50 exhibitors will be offering a variety of cooking and movement workshops and there will also be a good deal of food too!

75 hrs True Italian Food

What’s better than italian food? We thought about it for a while and couldn’t think of much! At the 75 hrs True Italian Food numerous Italian restaurants will be serving up tasty specials with a glass of wine for €7.00 per person. Enjoy your meal!

Berlin Food Week has already been running for four years. It offers everyone, regardless of whether they are a top chef, food blogger or just an enthusiastic food lover, the chance to meet and network with others with the focus on Berlin’s food scene. Numerous events on the topic of Berlin’s culinary delights will be taking place over the course of the week.

International Green Week

We have to admit that International Green Week isn’t actually a festival, nevertheless there is lots of food to discover at the trade fair. You can chat with farmers, find out how food is produced and try lots of different products. This coming year, Bulgaria will feature as the partner country.

International Berlin Beer Festival

Germans love their beer and that’s precisely why the International Berlin Beer Festival takes place in Berlin every year. Hundreds of breweries will be waiting for you to discover them. You can thus look forward to beer in all its possible varieties!

In our humble opinion, a delicious coffee is an essential part of getting the day off to a good start. The initiators of the Berlin Coffee Festival share this view. In September, you can learn all about cultivation, preparation and enjoyment here.
