On an antique shelf on the wall which dates back to 1889 and has a conservation order you can find handcrafted products like shaving brushes, wooden toys or notebooks. They were produced by people with and without disabilities and are sold here in the Imaginären Manufaktur. There is also an in-house Patisserie at the shop in Oranienstrasse where you can enjoy a coffee after your rummage.

Today, I'm going to relax on a Bierwurst (smoked sausage)! or a chicken leg. Or a pepper salami. This sounds strange but at Aufschnitt Berlin it is a cuddly reality: here you can buy seat cushions, neck or nursing cushions shaped like cuts of meat or sausages. The Aufschnitt designs are also available for those on the go as pieces of jewellery like the tongue backpack, a sausage necklace or the sausage brooch.

Berlin is famous for its fantastic and creative art and flea markets. And the trend of rummaging and recycling extends into the shops: at Fachfrau you can rent boxes for setting out & selling your jumble or pieces of art for example. Therefore, each individual box is like a lucky bag filled to the brim with illustrations, books, homemade creations, photographs, hats, children's toys and many other treasures - the ideal place to find a special gift!

At the Pick n Weight vintage store, shopping is done in the same way as vegetables at a market - here items are sold by weight. Far from the familiar 08/15 sales strategy, Pick n Weight has a colourful range of clothing and accessories from decades past. The store is not only a classic among the second-hand shops in Berlin, there are also venues in Hamburg, Munich, Cologne, and London. By now, there are three Pick n Weight Vintage Stores shops in Berlin. But watch out: One of them is not so easy to find! To enter the store in Bergmannstraße, you have to cross a little courtyard entrance before you find the entrance to Shopping Paradies in the backyard.

Kudos to Moritz, the founder of Captn-Crop. Since 2009, he has made fancy hats and headdresses in his shop in the Reuterkiez. Customers rummage between the wooden shelves like in an old prop store. The best thing: Captn Crop understands upcycling and uses substances and materials from his neighbours' discarded jumble or the from the flea market.
