The scribblers

... we write about Berlin

misses in Berlin a corporate swim on the river Spree, a musical flat for repeat visitors and a small office bike to run her PC in an environmentally friendly manner. As a consolation, the capital offers her the entire ABC - from AquaDom to Zeiss Planetarium. Therefore blogging is of course a point of honour.

Nadja Reusch Nadja Reusch
is at home at Rote Insel in beautiful Schöneberg. She likes to go treasure hunting in the Berlin Kiez neighbourhoods. From small wild herb gardens in Prenzl’berger shopping carts via culinary delights in Kreuzberg to the south sea sand beach bars in Mitte – she is particularly interested in all the wonderful details of Berlin.

is in love. It all happened already at the beginning of the 80s. It was love at first sight. Berlin simply does everything right: at home in Kreuzberg magic cooking is in the air; every day there are small surprises. Nonetheless there is enough free space. On Tempelhofer Feld, for instance or at the Maybachufer. A profession of love has been long overdue.

Allyn Wetendorf Allyn Wetendorf
has always had her heart and her home in Berlin. She likes to let her legs dangle at Rummelsburger Bucht bay and dreams of her own house boat. She would then cruise through the canals of the German capital, listen to club music from the beach or discover an abandoned amusement park. At the end of the day, there is only one harbour for her: Berlin.

The original Berliner went to discover the world after she finished school – but only to return to Berlin because it’s definitely the coolest city! Since then Prenzl‘ Berg has been her home but she is not limited to the borough. Some of her favourite hangouts are Landwehrkanal, Volkspark Friedrichshain and the Simon-Dach-Kiez. Will stay in Berlin for a while!

moved from Hessen in 2010; since then she is one half of “Julia & Julia” and a passionate Berlin-Lover from the first day on. She lives and writes now in the capital – about everything she encounters by the wayside. From time to time she misses, however, Father Rhine...

has already replaced for some time the calm lifestyle of her Baden hometown by Berliner Schnauze (Berlin dialect and humour), little rivers by the Landwehr canal and the “long red sausage” on Münsterplatz by a curried one in front of the Dom. As a convinced adoptive Berliner the second half of “Julia & Julia” writes preferably about smaller and bigger surprises in the very normal day-to-day capital life.
