Slow coffee. It's worth the time.
Coffee is a beverage that deserves to be drunk straight and unadulterated, which is possible once you've discovered the perfect method of preparation. As a previously devout adherent to the riches of frothy milk, I never thought I'd write a sentence like that. But during my slow coffee week, I learned so much about being intentional in my coffee drinking by choosing high-quality coffees produced by sustainable, fair trade that I can now actually imagine changing my morning ritual. And that leaves me with just two things to say:
1. Thank you, dear Berlin filter coffee advocates – I honour and pay tribute to the work you put into every single cup of coffee.
2. Mr Clooney, next time you come to Berlin, let me show you where you can get a really good cup of coffee.
